The Spring 2021 Online Pesticide Safety School Schedule is now available for registrants who are seeking initial licensing in one or more pesticide subcategories. To register for a school, go to one of the links below. You can either print out a form that can be mailed in with a school payment or go online to register for a school.
Participants are encouraged to pre-order their pesticide manuals well in advance of the school by visiting the Pesticide Safety Information page to prepare for the class and exams more thoroughly. Please allow 7-10 business days for manuals to arrive. Any questions about obtaining a license can be directed to the Pesticide Safety Education Program by emailing pesticide-edu@ncsu.edu or calling at 919-515-3113.
Spring 2021 Pesticide Safety School Dates:
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our Spring 2021 Pesticide Safety Schools are online using the Zoom format until further notice. The agenda, handouts, and Zoom link will be emailed a few days prior to the school date. Should an online school transition to an in-person format, you will receive a notification email in advance.
Exams, administered by the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS), are in-person. Please contact the NCDA&CS to register for or ask questions about the exams. You may reach them at 919-733-3556.
