The Pesticide Safety Education Program at NC State University is pleased to announce a new online course: The Wildlife Damage Management (WDM) Advisor Course.
This course focuses on techniques for resolving conflicts with wildlife based on the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Participants will explore essential topics including safety, wildlife diseases, animal biology, control techniques, pesticides, and ethics.
This information is specifically designed for Extension Educators/Agents, Master Gardener volunteers, and other non-licensed individuals who provide advice to the public on resolving human-wildlife conflicts.
Maximize Your Professional Credits
One of the standout features of this course is the ability to earn multiple types of continuing education credits simultaneously. Whether you are maintaining a pesticide license, a structural certification, a wildlife control certification, or volunteering with the Master Gardener program, this single course serves as a "one-stop shop" for your North Carolina recertification needs.
